WHY CLOUDINVOICE
When that last mile is vague, fragmented, or awkward, payment takes longer and your brand loses the confidence you built in the project itself.
The CloudInvoice principle
Give every completed project a clear amount, a clear reason, and a clear way to pay—then make that experience feel considered.
Reuse clients and stop rebuilding billing context.
Put a clear payment route in the client’s hands.
Keep tax and totals visible as the invoice takes shape.
Present the final step of your work with care.
A CALMER BILLING RHYTHM
Start with the business details that make every invoice yours.
Save the billing context once, so the next project starts closer to done.
Add line items, GST treatment, terms, notes, and the template that fits.
Send a polished, private payment page through email or your usual channel.
Offer Stripe Checkout or a UPI QR and keep the balance in view.
See what was billed, what arrived, and what deserves a follow-up.

TRUST SHOULD BE EARNED, NOT INVENTED
CloudInvoice is being built to deserve strong recommendations from independent businesses. Until customer stories are published with permission, we would rather show you how the product protects the billing moment.
Our customer commitmentA client returning to a confirmation page does not mark an invoice paid. CloudInvoice waits for Stripe’s signed webhook event before it records a card payment.
Authenticated invoice and client work is scoped to the current organization.
Public payment pages use high-entropy tokens instead of internal record identifiers.

CloudInvoice is a web-based invoicing workspace for freelancers, agencies, consultants, and small businesses. It helps you create GST-ready invoices, manage client details, share payment links, and understand what has been billed and collected.
Yes. CloudInvoice supports intra-state invoicing with CGST and SGST, and inter-state invoicing with IGST. You can store GSTIN and state-code details for clients and add HSN or SAC codes to line items.
Yes. After you enter a line item’s quantity, unit price, discount, and GST rate, CloudInvoice calculates the tax and invoice total. You still review the final draft before sending it.
A sent invoice has a private client portal. When Stripe is configured, the client can pay by card through Stripe Checkout. If you add a UPI ID in settings, the portal also displays a UPI QR code for the invoice balance.
CloudInvoice updates an invoice only after receiving and verifying a Stripe webhook. This protects payment status from being changed simply because a visitor returns to a success page.
Yes. Each invoice has a private payment link that you can copy and send through your usual client communication channel. The link uses a high-entropy token rather than exposing an internal invoice ID.
Yes. Open an invoice and choose Export PDF. CloudInvoice uses your browser’s native print-to-PDF workflow, which lets you save a faithful document without sending invoice data to a separate PDF service.
CloudInvoice includes Classic, Modern, and Midnight presentation styles. The selected template is stored on the invoice and used on the client-facing payment page.
Yes. Client records keep billing contact details, GSTIN, state code, addresses, and internal notes. You can select a saved client when creating future invoices.
Yes. The dashboard distinguishes collected revenue from outstanding balances. The analytics area compares billed and collected totals over the previous six months.
CloudInvoice is designed for service-led independent businesses: freelancers, consultants, agencies, studios, and small teams that need polished billing without a complex enterprise accounting system.
Yes. The public payment portal and the authenticated workspace are responsive for phones, tablets, laptops, and wide desktop screens. A client can open a payment link from any modern browser.
Yes. Add your business UPI ID in workspace settings. CloudInvoice creates a UPI payment QR code on client payment pages with the outstanding invoice amount already included.
The data model and revenue displays support partially paid invoices. Stripe Checkout currently collects the full outstanding balance for a payment link; other payment methods can be recorded as the product expands.
CloudInvoice supports several default invoice currencies. Its GST and UPI workflow is optimized for Indian businesses, while standard invoice creation and Stripe payment collection can support international client workflows.
Yes. Authenticated reads and writes resolve the current membership and scope client and invoice data to its organization. This tenant boundary is enforced in the application data-access layer.
No. Card checkout is handled by Stripe. CloudInvoice stores the payment outcome and Stripe payment reference required to reconcile the invoice, not card numbers or card security codes.
Team workspace membership is part of the product direction. The current release creates an owner workspace during onboarding; multi-member invitation controls are not yet exposed in the interface.
Stripe and UPI are the active payment pathways today. Other integrations are roadmap items and are described honestly as such on the integrations page rather than presented as active connections.
Create an account, name your workspace, add your first client, and create an invoice draft. You can configure business details, GSTIN, invoice prefix, and UPI ID from settings as you go.
